ICOLD Takes Hydropower Conference and Exhibition to Kampala

From March 15 to 17, 2022, hydropower will be the focus of an international conference and exhibition jointly organized by the ICOLD (International Commission on Large Dams) and the Ugandan government. The meeting will be held at the Speke Resort Munyonyo, on the shores of Lake Victoria, Uganda.

Civil engineering, dam construction, cyber security, rural electrification and environmental concerns are among the topics that will be discussed at the International Conference and Exhibition on Water Storage and Hydropower Development in Africa.

The event, which will take place from 15 to 17 March 2022 in Kampala, the Ugandan capital, will see the participation of many actors such as experts from around the world. They will discuss issues related to Africa.

Post-conference tours will allow delegates to visit the most important dams and hydropower plants in Uganda, whose strong commitment to hydropower justifies its choice as host country for the event
