Minister visits LEE Engineering State-of-the-Art Fabrication Yard

As part of efforts to boost the participation of indigenous firms in the gas sector, Minister of State Petroleum Resources (Gas), Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo today paid a visit to LEE Engineering and Construction Company Ltd ultra modern state-of-the-art fabrication yard in Warri, Delta State.

Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo made this disclosure through his official social media X handle formerly twitter was received by the company’s Chairman/Chief Executive, Dr. Lemon Ikpea who also conducted the Minister on a tour of the firm’s multi-billion naira manufacturing and fabrication yard where most oil and gas projects hitherto executed outside the country will now be carried out in-country in line with the aspirations of the Nigerian Content and Development Law.

The minister’s tour to this fabrication facilities expresses the unwavering commitment of the present Nigerian government led by H.E President Bola Tinubu in boosting local content participatory level in the major contracts in the oil and gas sector through continuous investment in modern technology and manpower training.

Lee Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd. is a leading indigenous EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Maintenance) company incorporated since199 with wide range of experience within the oil, gas and power sectors of the Nigerian economy.

The company has capability to fabricate pressure vessels, heat exchangers, process modules, tanks and flare systems. Lee Engineering workshop is duly certified (NCEC) by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board.(NCDMB).
