Algerian Government Reviews its pipeline transport Operation and construction decrees

The Algerian government has recently examined two draft executive decrees defining the procedures for obtaining authorizations to construct structures for pipeline transportation of petroleum products, and a pipeline transportation system. This new development the countrys oil and gas sector , was done during its executive meeting chaired by Prime Minister Abdelaziz Djerad,

According to a statement of the Prime Minister’s Office, the first draft executive decree defines the procedures for obtaining authorizations to construct a pipeline transportation system, while the second defines the procedures for obtaining authorizations to build structures for pipeline transportation of petroleum products.

These two draft executive decrees deal with the principles applicable to date and provided for by the provisions of the regulatory texts, while improving the current procedures and taking into consideration the experience gained in the management of the aspects relating to the construction of pipeline transportation systems for hydrocarbons and petroleum products, said the source.
