The National Agency for Oil, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG) presented the opportunities that Angola offers in the oil sector, during the technical program of the Angola Oil & Gas Conference, which takes place in Luanda

.The presentations made by the Director of Negotiations, Hélder Iombo, and by the Coordinator of the Incremental Production Project, Victor Santos, served to expose to the delegates the potential existing in the Angolan market.

According to representatives of the National Concessionaire, the country currently has 30 investment opportunities in the sector. These are 11 blocks in permanent offers, six onshore blocks, four opportunities in marginal fields (fields that already have discoveries), and nine blocks for the 2025 bidding round.

In addition to these opportunities, the incremental production project, which is awaiting the publication of the Presidential Decree, offers a considerable range of tax incentives to attract more investment in technology and increase hydrocarbon production.

The technical program preceding the Angola Oil & Gas Conference includes a series of seminars and presentations for an in-depth sharing of technical knowledge around the oil and gas value chain
