JOINING INSTRCUTIONS FOR VIPS, SPEAKERS, DELEGATES
Thank you for registering for the Nigeria International Energy Summit 2024. Below are some important details you need to know in the run up to #NIES2024. Please read carefully for your action.

Getting to the conference Branded NIES shuttle buses and cars will run from our partner hotels and event
venues.


Our Partner Hotels are:
Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Nicon Luxury Hotel, Focus Holiday Inn Abuja and Bella
Afrik Suites Abuja.


Accreditation
Please note our new location:
Attendee registration, accreditation and badging will be at:
Department of Arts and Culture Exhibition Pavilion
Area 11, Exhibition Pavilion Centre, Garki, Abuja 900247. This is next door to the
International Conference Centre, Abuja (ICC), the conference venue from 10:00am
on Sunday 25th February and Monday 26th February then 8:00am each
morning on February 27th, 28th and 29th. It closes at 8pm everyday.


Official Opening Ceremony
The Opening Ceremony and Presidential Launch on Tuesday, February
27th 2024 will be at the State House, Aso Villa, Abuja, starting with Networking
Coffee at 08:00am.


As the President will be launching the event, ALL DELEGATES ARE TO ARRIVE
VIA OUR SHUTTLE BUSES. Shuttle buses will run from 7:00am from our partner
hotels listed above, ICC Abuja and Cultural Centre (our new accreditation location).
The last shuttle on Tuesday to State House will be at 8:30am, as all delegates must
be seated by 9:00am at the Banquet Hall in State House.


ALL DELEGATES ARE EXPECTED TO BE SEATED BY 09:00am


Delegates must have their accredited NIES badges to gain access; the Opening
Ceremony is open to all registered Delegates, VIPs and Speakers (NOT open to
Visitors and Exhibitors)
Access to State House for the Opening Ceremony will seize at 9:00am.
Please ensure you are fully registered with cleared payments, accredited and
badged before Tuesday
in order to attend the Opening Ceremony at State House.

The Optional Extra Events – Networking Dinners at Hilton are strictly for VIP badge
holders, those with the Specific Dinner Invitation Cards and for those who have
purchased each specific Optional Extra ticket to attend.

Access to the event will only be granted to delegates who have paid the prescribed
fees and have been duly accredited. Your online registration is the first step, you will
need to attend the accreditation centre with a valid ID to complete the final stage and
be issued a conference pack and badge. Your badge will be security coded and nontransferable; it must be worn at all times during the event as it provides you access.
We will have an information desk at both the accreditation and conference venue,
should you need any further assistance. We reserve the right to decline accreditation
of any registrant who has not made a full settlement of their prescribed fees.
