NIES 2026:  Lokpobiri Tasks the Organizer for an Improved World-class Event

Nigerian Minister of State for Petroleum (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, has urged the organizers of Nigeria’s most outstanding world-class energy event – Nigerian International Energy Summit NIES to double down on its organizational prowess towards the upcoming 2026 event  

The Minister’s emphatic call for a brand-new event – an improved version of any similar best of global event ever held, while receiving James Shindi, CEO of Brevity Anderson, producers of the Nigeria International Energy Summit (NIES), who paid him a courtesy visit in his office.

“We reviewed plans for NIES 2026, and as our strategic partners, I urged the team to deliver a seamless, world-class event that raises the bar and makes this the best edition yet. As our strategic partners, “the Minister said.

He commended Brevity Anderson and its team for the continued support and team efforts they demonstrated towards driving inward investment and highlighting the achievements of the current administration of President Ahmed Bola Tinubu under the Renewed Hope agenda.

The Nigeria International Energy Summit is the official Industry event of the Federal Government of Nigeria and the only officially endorsed at the highest level of the Federal Executive Council. It is a global platform for networking, discussing, interacting with energy stakeholders, and signing high-level investment deals.
