The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) is bringing to the public notice the NUPRC hosting of Nigeria 2024 Licensing Round Pre-Bid Conference. This is seen as a follow up to the commission’s recently organized successful Miami International Roadshow for the 2024 licensing round which was done in partnership with the Petroleum Technology Association of Nigeria (PETAN) and Zetse Advisory & Consulting.
According to information made available on the commission’s website, the details of the upcoming conference are as stated below:

Venue: Eko Hotel and Suits, Lagos.

The Chief Executive of the Nigeria Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), Engr Gbenga Komolafe, has in the recent Miami Roadshow declared that the marketing of oil blocks has garnered staunch backing from the highest echelons of the government.
Engr. Komolafe, who underscored the role of presidential support in attracting investors to the Nation’s oil sector, said the Licensing Round is part of concerted efforts by Nigerian authorities to revitalize the country’s oil and gas industry and foster increased investment.
On Monday 29 April 2024, the Nigeria Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) announced the opening of the Nigeria 2024 Bid Round. Twelve blocks are on offer: six located on the continental shelf, four deep offshore blocks and two onshore blocks in the Niger Delta
