Oilserv, a leading engineering, procurement, and construction company in Nigeria with special expertise in pipeline engineering design and construction, is set to deploy its latest technology innovation for swampy pipeline construction following its recent multi-million-dollar pipeline contract awarded by Nigeria LNG.

Disclosing this unprecedented milestone achieved by Oilserv Limited in a media chat with Oilfield Africa at the side sideline of the just concluded SAIPEC 2026 event, with the theme “Celebrating a Decade of Energy, Oil, and Gas Innovation in Sub-Saharan Africa”, the managing director of Frazimex a subsidiary of Oilserv Group Engr Chuka Ezeh stated that the  Swamp gas pipeline contract awarded by NLNG to Oilserv has rewritten the technological prowess of the company’s competency in the industry.

Mr. Ezeh stated that with the recent contract coming from a globally reputable company like NLNG, it signified the confidence and trust major oil and gas operators have bestowed on the company in offshore project execution, noting that the project will chart an indelible path to Oilserv’s long-held dream to venture into major offshore pipeline construction operations.

“Oliserv has been awarded a 36-inch by 6km gas pipeline construction contract, with Package A being part of the total length of the 36 km pipeline project. Package A is a shallow water section of the contract, and it is going to cross a water depth of about 25 metres. We are starting the project this month, and it is expected to be completed in the next two years”, Engr. Ezeh said.

According to Engr. Ezeh, the unprecedented milestone achieved by Oilserv, has underscored the company’s resilience in building capacity and capability over the years through the acquisition of modern technology and training of its staff to obtain reliable knowledge available in the global pipeline technology space to compete favorably with global rivalries in the pipeline offshore construction.
