In pursuit of timely completion by May 2024, key leadership figures from NNPC-NGIC, comprising the EVP, MD, and representatives from the Presidency, conducted a site visit to the Assa PTF on Saturday, May 4th, 2024. The purpose was to evaluate readiness and preparations for the forthcoming Presidential commissioning.
Under the auspices of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation and its subsidiary, the Nigerian Gas Infrastructure Company Limited (NGIC), the ANOH-OB3 CTMS Gas Pipeline Project with Associated End Facilities is progressing.
As the foremost indigenous EPCIC Company in Nigeria, Oilserv is spearheading the construction of the ANOH PTF – OB3 CTMS gas export pipeline. This encompasses the installation of a 36” x 23.3km pipeline, alongside the implementation of Pigging facilities, facilitating the transportation of natural gas from Assa to OB3 CTMS.
This endeavor marks a significant milestone in Nigeria’s gas sector, with an anticipated collective yield of 1,400 million standard cubic feet per day.
The Oilserv commitment is coming few days after the Presidential media Aide to President Bola Tinubu Chief Ajuri Ngelale made a recent disclosure on the upcomingcommission of three critical gas infrastructure projects being undertaken by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) and partners.
According to the Presidential Spokesperson, the projects will support the federal government’s effort to grow value from the nation’s gas assets while eliminating gas flaring as the country reiterates commitment with her global counterparts in pursuit of net-zero targets.
He further stated that the on time delivery of the projects was accelerated from the inception of this present administration in keeping faith with the overall objective of deepening domestic gas supply as a critical enabler for economic prosperity.
