Polarcus Wins XArray™ 3D Project in West Africa

Polarcus Limited a global focused geophysical company that operates a fleet of high performance seismic vessels with 3D and 4D imaging capabilities,has announced the award of an XArray™ 3D marine seismic acquisition project in West Africa.

The XArray™ 3D marine seismic acquisition project is expected to commencce in October 2020 with duration of approximately 2 months.

Although to detail of the project is still sketchy as to the location and owners of the project, with reference to the name of the vessels in executing the project.

In April, polarcus has also awarded a similar XArray™ marine seismic acquisition project in Asia Pacific which is expected to commence in June 2020 with duration of approximately 1 month. While in July, the company announced that it has received a letter of intent on 3D seismic data acquisition services in Asia Pacific with an expected duration of 1 month. The project is scheduled to commence in Q3 2020, subject to relevant approvals.

Polarcus offers contract seismic surveys and multi-client projects with advanced priority processing solutions including Cirrus, a suite of cloud-based applications and services designed to bring clients closer to acquired seismic data, enabling faster and better informed exploration decisions.
