In the course of boosting the country’s investment portfolio in the energy industry, NNPC Limited is actively participating in key discussions at Gastech 2024 in Houston, Texas, focusing on the exchange of insights regarding real-world strategies and business models that are driving climate actions.

The globally acclaimed energy event which has currently entered Day 2, is an all-encompassing Rendezvous for global energy stakeholders, captains of industries, major economic decision makers and top governmental functionaries gather annually to chart laudable paths towards sustainable energy goals

This strategic alliance with like minds is basically channeled towards achieving just zero net emission targets set by various stakeholders in the global energy industry in line with Paris accord through innovative technologies which industrial applications will subsequently curtail global carbon emission and its greenhouse climate effect.

 NNPC Ltd has made fruitful engagements with major global energy players at the event to explore sustainable energy solutions and to highlight its commitment to energy transition. These global energy stakeholders among others include; Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and followed by PPT Energy Trading, Beetham Energy Ltd., and Pertamina.

The ongoing GASTECH 2024 will  provide a platform for NNPC Ltd. to showcase its initiatives and collaborate on innovative approaches to balancing energy demands while addressing climate change.

Mele Kolo Kyari, Group CEO of NNPC Ltd. will be speaking at the Gastech Strategic Conference. Kyali will deliver an Energy Talk exploring ‘Delivering a growth mandate through domestic and international natural gas sector transformation’.

In this Energy Talk, moderated by Hala Gorani, Anchor & Correspondent, Mele Kolo Kyari will discuss his vision and strategy for driving GDP growth in Nigeria, both through expanded domestic gas supply and the development of major export projects.
