TGS, a global provider of energy data and intelligence, today announced a strategic partnership with SeisWare, a leading developer of geoscience interpretation and field development software. This collaboration will significantly enhance the ability of energy companies to make informed exploration and development decisions by providing seamless access to critical well and geological data within SeisWare’s advanced software platform.

Through this partnership, TGS is enabling seamless integration of its  extensive well data, including well headers, formation tops, logs, and production and completion data, within SeisWare’s platform via TGS Application Programming Interfaces (APIs). This integration allows SeisWare users to efficiently incorporate TGS well data alongside their seismic data, geospatial layers, and existing well datasets. By centralizing all relevant geological and geophysical data within a single platform, SeisWare enhances workflows, improves decision-making, and supports more accurate and confident exploration and development strategies. This integration is currently in development and is targeted for availability in Q3,2025.

SeisWare’s comprehensive platform is designed for geologists, geophysicists, and energy industry professionals, offering powerful tools for seismic interpretation, visualization, attribute analysis, geological mapping, 3D well design, asset appraisal, and scenario testing. With a focus on user experience, SeisWare provides an intuitive, easy-to-learn interface that minimizes the steep learning curve often associated with complex technical software.

Carl Neuhaus, Vice President of Onshore – Multi-Client at TGS, said, “This partnership with SeisWare represents a step forward in enabling our clients to integrate and analyze critical geoscience data more effectively. By bringing together TGS’ extensive well and geological data with SeisWare’s interpretation platform, we are empowering energy professionals to make more informed, data-driven decisions that enhance exploration and development outcomes.”

Jeremy Keeler, President of SeisWare Inc., said, “We’re thrilled that this strategic partnership will empower our clients to make better-informed decisions through expanded data access. This collaboration, which integrates TGS’ comprehensive well data directly into SeisWare’s powerful interpretation platform, reflects our commitment to giving clients the tools they need to make confident decisions based on complete and current data.”

This integration represents just the first step in what TGS and SeisWare envision as a long-term partnership, with many more capabilities planned as the partnership evolves and matures.

TGS holds the industry’s largest well data library, with over 100 years of public and non-public sources. This collection uniquely combines vast volumes of quality-controlled well data with proven expertise.
