Top leadership from NNPC-NGIC, including the EVP, MD, and representatives from the Presidency, conducted a strategic visit yesterday Saturday, May 4th 2024, to the Process Treatment Facility (PTF) site of the ANOH-NNPC Gas Pipeline Project. This visit aims to ensure timely completion by May 2024, aligning with preparations for the Presidential commissioning.
President Bola Tinubu is set to inaugurate three ground-breaking gas infrastructure projects in Nigeria, including the ANOH-NNPC Gas Pipeline and associated end Facilities and the ANOH-OB3 CTMS Gas Pipeline Projects, both executed by Oilserv Limited, a leading indigenous EPCIC company.
These projects signify a significant advancement in Nigeria’s gas industry, expected to collectively yield 1,400 million standard cubic feet per day. They underscore Nigeria’s commitment to maximizing gas resources, reducing flaring, and stimulating economic growth through enhanced domestic supply.
The ANOH-NNPC Gas Pipeline and its associated end Facilities, a masterpiece crafted by Oilserv Limited, stands as a testament to indigenous expertise and innovation. With an integrated capacity of 300MMscf/d, this state-of-the-art gas processing infrastructure is strategically located in Imo State, poised to tap into the abundant non-associated gas reservoirs of the Assa North-Ohaji South field.
Engineered to produce dry gas, condensate, and LPG, the ANOH-NNPC Gas project is poised to revolutionize Nigeria’s energy landscape, fuelling increased power generation and catalysing rapid industrialization.
Furthermore, Oilserv Limited’s expertise extends to the ANOH-OB3 CTMS Gas Pipeline Project, a critical component in the nation’s gas infrastructure. Spanning 23.3 kilometres, this transmission pipeline, meticulously engineered by Oilserv Limited, serves as the lifeline for transporting dry gas from the Assa North – Ohaji South primary treatment facility to the OB3 Custody Transfer Metering Station.
With an estimated capacity of 600MMscf/d, this pipeline underscores Oilserv commitment to excellence in engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commission (EPCIC), setting the stage for enhanced gas delivery and utilization across Nigeria.
The impending mechanical completion of the ANOH-OB3 CTMS Gas Pipeline Project by May 15, 2024, heralds a new era of progress and prosperity for Nigeria. Upon commissioning, these visionary projects are poised to bolster the nation’s gas supply by approximately 500mmscf/d, fostering an environment conducive to investment and fostering inclusive economic growth.
As affirmed by the Presidential Spokesman, these initiatives underscore the current administration’s unwavering dedication to driving sustainable development and shaping a brighter future for Nigeria’s energy landscape.
